In December 2023 the impact investing class completed due diligence on 4 inspiring early stage social enterprises. It was a difficult decision, but under the guidance of the alums who made up the Investment Advisory Council the students reached consensus to recommend investment into Afterlife. Afterlife<\/a> is a circular mushroom farm that contracts to take waste from NYC restaurants, turn it into a substrate to grow mushrooms and then sell the mushrooms back to\u00a0 restaurants and other food outlets.
