Five Tips from Fords on Friday: Lulu Krause ’12, Associate Director, Branded Video Strategy, Condé Nast Entertainment

Lulu Krause ’12 Associate Director, Branded Video Strategy & Programming, Condé Nast Entertainment Anthropology Major About Lulu Krause: Lulu Krause is the Associate Director of Branded Creative Strategy at Condé Nast Entertainment. In this role, she helps to develop the creative for branded video campaigns across Wired, GQ, Allure, Glamour and other Condé Nast titles. Prior to joining the video division, she oversaw the company’s corporate Social-Media sales, marketing, and revenue strategies. Before joining Condé Nast, Krause launched the sales communications department at the mobile advertising company, Kargo. Outside of work, she performs musical improv on a weekly basis at The Magnet Theater, and writes, directs, and produces musical comedy videos with a collective of comedians and filmmakers. She has written for Refinery29, Art In America, and Guernica Magazine and her personal projects have been covered by The Daily Mail, Yahoo News, New York Magazine, Teen Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, The Cut, Time Out New York and more. She is fascinated by time management and has been tracking her productivity for over 2 years in an Excel spreadsheet. Lulu graduated from Haverford College in 2012 with a B.A. in Anthropology.   Five Tips from the Fords on Friday Talk: Narrow it down to one line. After she graduated from Haverford, Lulu moved to NYC without a clear director for her career. While focusing on her comedy, she attended some local networking events with friends and soon saw the value in them. Five Tips from Fords on Friday: Ryan Frankel ’06 Founder, EduPlated

Ryan Frankel ’06 Founder, EduPlated Economics & Spanish Double Major   About Ryan Frankel:  Ryan Frankel is the founder of EduPlated, an online nutrition coaching platform. Previously, he was the CEO and Co-Founder of VerbalizeIt, a language translation platform for businesses which was acquired in 2016. VerbalizeIt was incubated in TechStars and featured on the ABC TV series, Shark Tank. VerbalizeIt was honored by PhoCusWright as the 2013 Travel Startup of the Year and in 2014, Ryan was named by Inc. Magazine as a Top 35 Under 35 entrepreneur. He is an MBA graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a proud undergraduate alumnus of Haverford College where he studied Economics and Spanish and pitched for the varsity baseball team. Prior to Wharton, Ryan was a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs in the Special Situations Group in New York City where he focused on middle market private equity transactions and the operational management of the portfolio companies. He is also a recipient of the 2013 Class of 35 Top Travel Innovators and a frequent columnist in Forbes, Inc. Magazine, Wharton, and OPEN Forum by American Express. Ryan is an endurance enthusiast who has enjoyed competing in an Ironman triathlon and multiple marathons.
