How will you spend your spring break? Consider shadowing alumni in their workplace!

Figuring out what you are interested in takes time, planning and initiative.  But you don’t need to do it all on your own. Connect and interact with alumni who work in fields of interest.  One special way to connect with alumni is through the Extern Program, our job shadow program.  Observe, shadow, talk to alumni, learn about their paths, talk to their colleagues – all to get a clearer picture about the field.
By job shadowing professionals in their workplace, you can begin to explore your

interests and see what a typical day is like in a particular job. The advice and guidance you’ll receive from alumni in this shadowing experience will help you identify potential career options.
Apply for our Spring Break Extern Program! Applications are due Thursday, February 1. Go into Handshake search “extern” and start applying now! Click here to see a full list of extern sponsors.
