Questions about these policies may be directed to the Mail Center.
More information about the Mail Center and its policies can be found at www.haverford.edu/campus_center/mail_center/.
Students may use campus mail for general mailings to students and faculty as long as each piece distributed is addressed and bears the name of the individual responsible for the mailing, and the name, if any, of the sponsoring organization. The Mail Center staff asks that mailings on 8 1/2” by 11” paper be folded, and that no mailings be on paper smaller than 3” by 5”. Also, please alphabetize any mailings with more than 25 pieces. Students are not to enter the Mail Center without permission from the Mail Center staff. No member of the College community will allow her/his name to be used to permit an off-campus commercial agency to distribute its advertising material through the College mail services. The only exceptions are those student franchises granted through Business Venture Policy.
Campus-Wide Mail Distribution Policy
Campus-wide notice distribution is restricted to authorized representatives of the Student Council. If a student/organization is interested in making a campus-wide paper mailing, Lilly Lavner, Director of Student Activities, must first authorize it. Notices of campus-wide events should be advertised according to the campus Posting Policy.
Campus mailboxes, located in Whitehead Campus Center, are assigned to all Haverford students. All mail from the College is sent to students’ campus mailboxes. The mailing address is:
370 Lancaster Ave.
Haverford, PA 19041-1392
For security reasons, closing your mailbox once you have retrieved your mail is highly encouraged.
