About

My summer project is oriented towards the protection and conservation of the endangered sea turtle species Caretta caretta. I will spend the summer collecting data on the sea turtles such as age and size as well as nesting time, date and position. It will also be my responsibility to preserve the beach cites, clean up garbage and promote environmental sustainability in the area. With my research I hope to gain insight into the ways conservation and protection of an animal species or habitat evolve with time and changing conditions and what can be done to help increase the chances of survival.
