Art and Poetry in Nicaragua
Kate Irick ’13′s CPGC internship will be spent working with kids to do art and poetry workshops, and a community mural in Achuapa, a small town in Nicaragua. She will be working through the municipal library through a Quaker organization called ProNica, which works to advance social justice through peace and cross-cultural exchange.
