I know the music man of Chestnut! I've harbored some unfriendly thoughts about him because last time I drove into the city I parked right near him, paid the parking meter, and went on my way. 45 minutes later I was coming back to my car to find a $76 parking ticket tucked nicely beneath my windshield wiper. I threw a look the music man's way as if to say "Oh c'mon dude, you couldn't have said 'hey man, don't park there' when I got out of the car?" and I drove home, convinced that he worked for the City of Philadelphia, enticing people to park there with the dulcet tones of his guitar, harmonica, and voice, helping the City out 76 bucks at a time. Your romanticized vision makes me want to go back and pay him a much friendlier visit--thanks, Mandy!
