I saw the special designation mentioned in a local newspaper article about an entomologist, Paul Goldstein , who received a grant through the Trustees of Reservations.to study bees.

I can’t let Jason’s mention of bats go without comment. My advice is stay away from bats and their guano. I will email you separately the CDCs recommendations for those in an enclosed space with a bat – even if you are awake and do not sustain a bite. Please keep me in the loop if you decide to consider bats for anything.
