About
In just a few short days, the Punt/Emerson (“Punterson”) lab will be venturing to Steamboat Springs, CO for one of the annual Keystone Symposium conferences on molecular and cellular biology. Nestled in the northwest corner of the Rocky Mountains, Steamboat Springs is well known among avid skiers as a premier skiing site, but more importantly to the Punterson lab, Steamboat Springs is the location of this year’s Hematopoiesis conference. This upcoming week our lab will be attending lectures by keynote speakers as well as sharing our own hematopoietic stem cell research done at Haverford College. A current member of the Punterson lab, I will be blogging about our escapades in Steamboat. Updates to come! —Ashley Vanderbeck ’13
