The purpose of this blog is to report on the research, and general activities of our lab here at Haverford College. The overarching theme of our reasearch is to investigate how organic compounds (natural and man-made) persist in the environment and move between different reservoirs (atmosphere, terrestrial, marine). Our main focus is the coastal environment and marine sediments and the physical, chemical and biological interactions between these environments and organic compounds of interest (more details can be found in the blog and on my webpage). For now, welcome to our lab blog.
