I’m a Haverford alum (’61) working at Nunez Community College in St. Bernard Parish just east of New Orleans. Of course our service area has been badly hurt by the oil spill. We’re trying to develop some retraining opportunities for fishermen and other St. Bernard and Plaquemines Parish residents whose livelihood has been affected by the oil spill. We’re also beginning to develop some coastal restoration curricula. If there’s any way we can help in your work (or vice versa), please let me know.
