The Night Market

For our August group activity, we all attended the Night Market, an amazing event in which over 80 food trucks lined South Street! Musicians and performances also lined the packed streets. Ironically, the Night Market was not a good event to go to if you were hungry, as it was nearly impossible to decide on just one food truck, and after you did, the lines were really long. However, I managed to eat a sandwich entitled the “Benito Juarez” that came on a biscuit, as well as some “chicken in waffles” in which pieces of chicken were mixed with the waffle batter– needless to say, they were worth the wait!
It seems that the Haverford House group activities are quickly adopting a food theme, and I can’t complain! Stay tuned for our adventures next month!
