This February Haverford is taking part in the Campus Conservation Nationals energy-reduction competition under the title “Do it in the Dark.”
Over 22 months on campus we watched Kim Hall and Tritton Hall take shape. But now you can watch the new dorms rise from the site of a former parking lot in just over three minutes, thanks to a time-lapse video.

Yesterday was the day we’d been waiting for since Commencement: the day the new first-year students arrived on campus! The Class of 2016 got lucky with beautiful weather for their move-in day, and campus, which had been quiet all summer, came alive with cars full of parents, luggage and the newest members of the Haverford community.
Saturday, December 3 was a momentous occasion in the history of the still-under-construction Tritton and Kim halls, the first new dorms on Haverford’s campus since 1968. It was a guided hard-hat walking tour of the site, led by the architects and members of the Haverford facilities team.
