VALUES THROUGH ARTS AND SPORTS - Saturdays beginning , February 9, 11am – 2pm
Values Through Sports is a sports,recreation, arts and crafts, and education program established with the mission of helping at-risk, inner-city youth develop the values, self-esteem, and life skills necessary to become responsible, productive adults. The program serves children and teens ages 5-18 living in the West Kensington section of Philadelphia.
JEWISH RELIEF AGENCY FOOD PACKAGING - Sundays beginning Feb. 10, 10 am- 11:30 am
Join Jewish Relief Agency’s mission to relieve hunger for low-income and elderly families by packing non-perishable kosher food for delivery. This busy hour and a half of packing will serve 1600 families in the Northeast and beyond! If you have some time afterwards, volunteers are always welcome to help deliver the food packagers and mingle with some great folks.
CRADLES TO CRAYONS - Every other Tuesday, beginning February 12, at 6 pm.
Every child deserves a toy that brings them a smile so volunteer to help Cradles to Crayons sort and organize donated toys and clothes. These donations are used to create care packages and birthday messages to homeless and low-income children around the Philadelphia area
