Stuff to do before Fall Break
Fall Break often comes just in time for some students who need a break, and and too soon for students who are just getting into the swing of things. Whichever group you fall into, here are some tips from some of your UCAs:
- “allow yourself to take a break. Sleep in, read for leisure, spend time with friends and family. Overly ambitious thoughts to get ahead are better left to a weekday evening upon return”. J. Mussa
- ” Give yourself a chance to rest and reflect; education requires periods of contemplative relaxation!” D. Harris
- ” give yourself the first weekend of fall break off and relax, but then come Sunday night make a study plan that gives enough down time but takes care of the work that has to be done”. I. Dhawan
-
“Use the break to eat some nice food and catch up on lessons you might have missed in the first seven weeks.” P. Dunoyer
- “embrace a change of pace and change of place. If you’re going home or visiting other friends, savor every moment. If you are staying on campus, explore Philly and enjoy Haverford’s campus without the pressure of too much work. And wherever you may be, catch up on rest!” F.Esaa
