Student Resources You Need to Know

The Haverford College Women’s Center, established shortly after the college’s transition to a co-ed institution in 1980, continues to bring awareness, assistance, and education to students while also providing many opportunities for celebration within the community. The Women’s Center is a space open to both men and women, offering a wealth of information, support, and free contraceptives. Hosting many speakers and diverse events throughout the year, the Women’s Center seeks to celebrate women’s diversity, reinforce the empowerment of women in the Haverford community, educate the community about sex and sexuality, and break the silence surrounding rape and sexual assault. Some events to look forward to this year are “Sex-vember”, the Be-You-Tiful celebration, the Clothesline Project and many more! We also offer support and guidance 24/7 through our student assistant hotline (484)-571-2775 for anyone in need of assistance.

Class of 2016, we can’t wait to see you in August! Check out our website and read our official welcome letter:blogs.haverford.edu/womenscenter/
