And now, a working version . . .

Our Colleagues at the CESR have made some excellent progress towards a working model of the site.  Follow the link below and see what you think of the basic functions, layout.  Of course there will be changes, but this should give a sense of how things work.

So far, you can search (but only the Premier livre has full images and transcriptions), scroll through books, toggle among the voice parts, download PDFs, and download transcriptions.

    I would consider saying “Search and Browse” rather than just “Search” in the right-hand directory, since you offer both options.

    Will you have a page turner for works that are longer than one page? Will you be able to view the complete book by paging from one work to the next? It might be a nice way to help preserve some of the context of the original presentation.

    This is extremely cool – the page design is sleek and the basic menu functions clear. I did use the playback ability with Scorch – I’ll be interested to hear other’s reactions to this feature. I’m not convinced it is necessary or desirable.
