The Pennsylvania Council for International Education, or PaCIE, advocates for the strengthening of international education in the state of Pennsylvania. They will be holding their annual conference from October 10-12 at the Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel. From their website:
We hope you will join us for the 2013 PaCIE Annual Conference, Building Global Competence through Collaborative Strategies in International Education. Sessions are based around the four main themes below and are designed for multiple audiences across K-12, higher education, government agencies, community organizations and the business community.

- Creating connections through the use of technology
- Working together to overcome challenges in international education
- Educating the educators
The conference schedule will also include forums to learn more about PaCIE, its goals and initiatives (including ways to get involved), as well as opportunities to network and share with fellow attendees.
