Healthy Communities through a Healthy Environment

Healthy Communities through a Healthy Environment
Beyond Translation Initiative at EPA Region III
November 2, 2011
8 am – 4 pm
Drexel University, James Creese Student Center, Behrakis Grand Hall (3210 Chestnut St)

The mission of the Beyond Translation Initiative at EPA Region III is to expand the conversation on environmentalism among Asian, Hispanic, and African immigrant communities. We would like to invite all of you to be involved in environmental discussions. This year’s theme is “Healthy Communities through a Healthy Environment.” We will have various sessions discussing environmental issues that impact our health, including access to healthy foods and factors concerning sensitive populations. More specific information on the forum will follow.

We will be having an exhibit hall on the day of the event for organizations or community groups to display information to the forum attendees. If you are interested in having a table, please contact Rome Arquines (arquines.rombel@epa.gov). Registration is now open for the Beyond Translation Forum 2011! Register for free online at www.trainex.org/BTF2011.
