I think this picture really captures my image of Prague. It’s a mysterious city that does not give up its secrets easily but does not conceal them either. It’s place filled with wonder and confusion, that can be frustrating and/or exhilirating.

i took a pretty similar picture more or less at the same time (1997) with you, when i was a student there for one year. i fell inlove with the city that year and further visited in 1998. i have dreamed meanwhile to move there. but i have alwais avoided returning there as i am not sure how the city changed meanwhile. how did it “accomodated” the large number of tourists (or am i gelous?). i would return in late fall or early spring to avoid the crowd i believe.

Hi, was searching on pictures of Prague and found this. I visited Prague back in Sept as well, though it’s a little different from what it is in my mind (which is right about the picture above) I still love it, for the same imagination and wonder as what you wrote…..this is exactly what I want to say about Prague in my mind…=)

This is a great photo! I have Prague on my mind too. I’m hoping to go visit my friend that I haven’t seen in 7 years who lives in Prague. Once again, love the photo!

I too had Prague on my mind today. This is how I remember the time I lived there – exploring the many folds of this beautiful city.
