The Weekend in James House
I gotta dash off to breakfast in the Coop with Harrell, but here’s some pics from the among friends parties in James House last weekend.

Bi-Co Mix CD Party

Did you participate in the Bi-Co Mix CD Exchange? Wish you had participated? Now that the exchange is over, join Mawrtyrs and Fords in James House for a party celebrating the mixes we made for each other.
Big Birthday Party
Saturday, March 21st, 9 p.m.
Do you know Emily Carton, Sydney Keough, Hilary Schwartz, Julia Ryan, Cristina Smith, or Laura Zipin? Join us in James House to celebrate all their birthdays! Bring presents, because this is their birthday party.
among friends is coming next week!
We need you to sew heart pouches with us. We need you to eat food with us. We need you to have a sewing party with us in James House Tuesday and Wednesday night (Tues 7-10, Wed 8:30-10/after We Speak).
Whether you’ve been sewing all your life or have never stitched a stitch, come. We can’t sew, but we’re going to try. (There will be sewing machines. If you have one you can lend to us, let us know.)
We are sewing heart pouches for the comfort station we’re hosting with Nao around March 25th. We will also screen some of Nao’s films. She’s done some pretty great stuff—dressed up her dog Fufu as a water buffalo; dolled herself up in a huge blond wig, climbed a ladder, and sung “America the Beautiful”; traveled around the country dressed as Ronaldo McDonaldo and demanded a free hamburger. The list goes on.
Conclusion: Come to James House. Sew with us.
among friends is a series of four simultaneous, collaborative workshops that team contemporary artists with Haverford students and interested members of the community.
