Teaching in China
Along with three other Bi-Co students, Liz Wolensky ’11 will be spending her CPGC internship working in China with the Amity foundation, a Chinese Christian organization dedicated to promoting education, social services, health, and rural development. The internship itself is split between Nanjing and Xingtang, and includes teaching of mentally disabled students, children of migrant workers, and middle school English teachers. The main focus is teaching students and teachers English in accordance with the goals of the Amity foundation.
